California may soon protect its citizens from federal laws conflicting with the state’s legal marijuana policy.
The state Assembly approved a bill on Thursday prohibiting state and local police from assisting in enforcing federal marijuana laws, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The measure introduced by Assemblyman Reggie Jones-Sawyer (D-Los Angeles) would shield Californians complying with state pot laws, such as dispensary owners and recreational users, from state or local police actions.
“AB 1578 ensures that our limited local and state resources are not spent on federal marijuana enforcement against individuals and entities that are in

“This is a woman’s health issue and for years women have suffered in silence. There’s Midol. You can take Advil, but really nothing more,” said Democratic Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal to Newsweek.

California’s latest effort to legalize recreational marijuana has brought forth a massive interest in people who want to grow their own pot.
Growing cannabis from seeds requires extensive work and attention, but purchasing clones derived from an existing plant cuts down the cultivation process immensely.
The demand for clones has risen exponentially due to their relative ease, which has exposed a dark side to cannabis cultivation that involves the use of pesticides and other chemicals not suitable for human consumption.
“More and more, we find that our patients are looking for a reliable
