NJ Business Action Center Announces Instructors for Cannabis Training Academy

As the cannabis landscape continues to evolve and take shape in the New Jersey market, there are many points to consider with the implementation of new regulations and the newly legalized industry. One of these points is supporting the industry professionals (and industry hopefuls) who were most impacted by the racist criminalization of cannabis.

NJ Business Action Center (NJBAC)

Thankfully, the NJ Business Action Center (NJBAC), which operates within the Department of State, has selected its first group of Cannabis Training Academy (CTA) instructors to assist in building out New Jersey’s cannabis technical assistance program. This is exciting to see as New Jersey legalized adult use cannabis back in 2021.

New Jersey Cannabis Training Academy (CTA)

Set to launch in 2024, the CTA will provide individuals, particularly those from underserved communities disproportionately impacted by cannabis prohibition and those that reside in designated Impact Zones, with the proper information and education to pursue an adult-use cannabis operator’s license. The program also will help individuals determine whether the cannabis industry is right fit for their business aspirations….
