Nate Diaz seems perfectly happy staying out of the Octagon and nearby a big jar of Ghost OG Kush.
The Stockton-bred fighter gave a rambling yet insightful interview with the MMA Hour on Wednesday to talk about life since losing a rematch to current UFC lightweight champ Conor McGregor in August of 2016.
While speaking on how he spends his current free time, Diaz showed off a jar of cannabis labeled “Ghost OG Kush.”
“My point is, I don’t need to fight,” Diaz told interviewer Ariel Helwani in one of his clearer thoughts.
Diaz also pointed out that he’s getting serious about triathlon racing this year, which he seems to be more excited for rather than returning to fighting.
“That’s what I’ve been fighting for years for…I train hard and I fight hard so then I can do whatever the f–k I want,” said Diaz. “So what I would like to do is compete in races, and enjoy some time at home.”
Diaz then went on to show off a few things around the house, including a blunt wrapped in the shape of a UFC fighting glove, crafted specially for Diaz by smokeable artist Weavers.
