It’s definitely no secret that marijuana users like to have a good time, but a new report about the habits of cannabis consumers claims that stoners are some of America’s most well-adjusted adults, with higher rates of happiness and financial success.
According to Marijuana Industry News, the first of its kind report comes from BDS Analytics, a Colorado-based cannabis market research firm that looked at marijuana users’ quality of life, marijuana acceptors (people who don’t use cannabis but might consider it) and marijuana rejectors (people who don’t use cannabis and wouldn’t consider it).
In their first release of qualitative data, BDS looked at cannabis users in California and Colorado and came back with some telling statistics about the unspoken benefits of weed.
“Cannabis consumers are far removed from the caricatures historically used to describe them,” Linda Gilbert, head of the consumer research division at BDS Analytics, said in a press release. “In fact, positive lifestyle indicators like volunteering, socializing, satisfaction with life and enjoyment of exercise and the outdoors are highest among cannabis consumers, at least in Colorado and…
