California Fires Up Online Licensing for Marijuana Industry

California ended last week on a high note.

In preparation for rolling out the state’s newest industry on Jan. 1, marijuana entrepreneurs began rushing to complete their temporary business applications online. Made available Friday, California’s license application system is easy to access and navigate.  

A mandatory requirement for conducting a legally complainant recreational marijuana business in the Golden State after Dec. 31, the temporary licenses can be obtained through the California Bureau of Cannabis Control Online Services.

Announced via Twitter, the online system allows California’s would-be marijuana retailers, cultivators, distributors, and testing facilities to get a head start on the application process.
