The DEA Forced to Remove Misleading Cannabis Claims from Website: There are no two ways about it – Federal law makes the whole subject of legal cannabis very confusing. Not just confusing, but incredibly difficult for those looking to play a role in the development of the fledgling legal pot industry. You’re handed the freedom you’ve been dreaming of, but with a rather unfortunate caveat in the form of Federal policy that contradicts state law.

With the new administration in the U.S., many states that have legalized cannabis or medical cannabis are wondering what will happen to state marijuana programs.

While many cannabis consumers have been consuming their cannabis alongside beer for many years, a Portland based microbrewery, Coalition Brewing, has brought the potential for hops and cannabis to a whole new level.  While Coalition has been brewing high quality, craft beer since 2010, they have most recently ventured in to the cannabis territory, sourcing CBD from industrial hemp to create an amazing CBD beer they have named Two Flowers.  This beer has had several launch parties and the tap has run dry at almost every single one.

State and local politicians will discuss marijuana policy in Texas again this month.  While there has been lots of recent attention given to this topic in Texas, this discussion includes both the City of Dallas as well as the State’s laws on the decriminalization of cannabis.The Dallas City Council will consider ending the Dallas Police Department’s policy to arrest people for possessing small amounts of marijuana when they meet next week.
