Today, on 4/20, Oregon Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D) will be answering questions on Reddit during an open form “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) Q & A.
A strong and early proponent of legalization, last month Rep. Blumenauer announced a legislative package named “Pathway To Marijuana Reform.” The Marijuana Revenue and Regulation Act, the Responsibility Addressing the Marijuana Policy Act, and the Business Tax Equity Act would “preserve the integrity of state marijuana laws,” according to Rep. Blumenauer.

Positive of marijuana’s ultimate legalization, the Oregon Rep. told reporters “The long-term is clear. I’ve stated and I strongly believe in five years every state will be able to treat marijuana like it treats alcohol.”
