If there’s one word that sums up the Cannabis Life Conference this past weekend, it’s normalization.
Cannabis business functions in legal-ish hotspots like Toronto are becoming a dime a dozen for our rapidly burgeoning industry. The vast majority of these events take place at venues long-accustomed to the corporate conference lifestyle, such as downtown hotels and convention centers.

New Jersey lawmakers introduce recreational marijuana bill













Contrary to Gov. Chris Christie’s anti-pot stance, New Jersey lawmakers are working to become the next state to legalize marijuana.

A bill to legalize, regulate, and tax the recreational adult use of marijuana was introduced in the state Senate on Monday, reports NJ.com.
Under the bill, adults 21 and over would be allowed to possess up to one ounce of marijuana or 16 ounces of cannabis-infused products, including edibles. A tax on marijuana sales would be established, beginning at seven percent and rising to 25 percent over the course of five years.

California Issues Proposed Medical Marijuana Licensing Rules
