When Wally Johnson set out to make a film about cannabis prohibition in Sweden, he didn’t expect to be embarking on a journey of self-discovery that would take him to the other side of the world. Sensi Seeds is proud to be associated with Wally and the team from Guerrilla Tactics who are behind the forthcoming documentary ‘Mary & I’.
Despite being a progressive nation in many ways, Sweden has extremely oppressive drug laws. A zero tolerance approach for drugs, including the policy that being under the influence of drugs is in itself an illegal act, is coupled with the third highest rate of deaths from drug overdose in the world. This terrible statistic is part of the impetus behind ‘Mary & I’.
Sweden is also the home of Guerrilla Tactics Entertainment. This independent production company was founded in 2014 and Sensi Seeds is proud to partner with them to help bring ‘Mary & I’ to the public. With a background in acting, scriptwriting and stand-up comedy, Wally Johnson is the main driving force behind the company.
