Gayle King reveals that Oprah Winfrey smokes pot

Oprah Winfrey likes to use cannabis from time to time, as confirmed by her best friend Gayle King.

King, a TV personality and CBS news anchor, discussed Winfrey’s marijuana use in a recent interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

King brought up how her and comedian Amy Schumer had a “conversation later about marijuana” and “I said I’ve never smoked a marijuana cigarette. I never have. Maybe that’s part of the problem — [I call it a] cigarette.”

She then went on to out her best friend Oprah, who she believes has more experience using cannabis.

“Oprah has also smoked a little marijuana, too. I don’t mind saying that,” she said. “I’m not telling tales out of school.”

King backed off when asked to elaborate, however.

“I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate her . . . It’s not something that happens on a regular — I’m going to change the subject.”
