The pot-loving stars from “Broad City” are supporting New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon with the help of a signed bong.
Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, creators of the hit television show, are raffling off an autographed glass bong as a fundraiser for Nixon’s campaign, the Marijuana Moment reports.
“Yes, it’s really us,” Jacobson and Glazer said in a Nixon campaign email to supporters. “We’re big fans of Cynthia, so we’re helping her out any way we can. And today, that means giving out a FREE BONG …”
Nixon entered the gubernatorial race earlier this year under the platform of legalizing marijuana, something that incumbent Gov. Andrew Cuomo has been hesitant to act upon.
