Chelsea Handler is set to launch a new career in cannabis.
The comedian and host of Netflix’s first talk show took to Instagram to announce plans to launch her own brand of marijuana, reports the Blast.
“I’m going to come out with my own line of weed, I decided,” she said in a video story posted on her Instagram account. “I want people to understand that you don’t have to get blottoed, you can just get a little, nice buzz to take the edge off.”
Further videos show Handler in some sort of professional growing facility as she explains the political motivation behind her decision.
“Weed is legal now in California and should be because it’s the only [expletive] thing that keeps me sane since Trump was elected,” said Handler.
If and when Handler’s pot products become available for sale, she will join the likes of several celebrities carrying their own line of marijuana, including Whoopi Goldberg, Willie Nelson, and Melissa Etheridge, to name just a few.
