California’s biggest hash festival returns: Chalice 2017 winners and pics

The Chalice Hash Festival returned to California’s Mojave Desert over the weekend to celebrate music, functional glass, and the state’s finest cannabis concentrates.

Now in its fourth year of existence, Chalice lived up to its reputation as the “Coachella of Concentrates” by bringing in music headliners such as Ice Cube, Thievery Corporation, and STS9 as the soundtrack to the thousands in attendance lighting up a joint, pipe, or dab rig.

The punishing July heat didn’t stop festival goers from enjoying the best waxes, resins and shatters currently available in California dispensaries. Judges packs were given out to a select few one week prior to the festival in order to determine the highest quality cannabis products in the state. Those lucky enough to receive a pack blazed their way through numerous entries of flowers, solvents, non-solvents, and vape pens before making their decisions, which were announced over the weekend.
