Zach Randolph is getting some vocal support from an old teammate.

The retired NBA forward Rasheed Wallace recently came to the defense of the embattled NBA big man after news that Randolph was arrested in Los Angeles for possession of two pounds of marijuana with intent to sell.

Wallace, who previously played with Randolph as teammates for the Portland Trailblazers, told TMZ that Z-Bo only intended to have a good time.

“It seems to be — no matter who you are — the bigger the paycheck, the bigger the party,” Wallace told TMZ in the video below.

“I know for a fact he ain’t no dope dealer,” he added.

Wallace also had some uplifting words for his former front-court partner, as Randolph enters a two-year contract with his new team, the Sacramento Kings.

“Zach, keep your head up, man. Wait for the season to come around, play strong. Be up, that’s all.”
