Ex-Warrior Al Harrington and former NBA commish David Stern say that league should allow medical marijuana

Former Golden State Warriors star Al Harrington once gave fans something to believe in, but now provides medicinal cannabis that patients can rely on.

The retired NBA forward has since found further success as an entrepreneur in the legal marijuana business, Harrington explains in a video produced by the digital sports network Uninterrupted.

“In the beginning I was like ‘Oh my God, I’m a drug dealer.’ But now it was like ‘I’m a businessman.’ It’s completely flipped,” says Harrington in the short documentary.

Harrington is the founder of Viola Extracts, a company that produces high quality pot concentrates distributed in states with legal access. He named the business after his grandmother Viola, who was staunchly against using marijuana until she found immense pain relief after finally using it.

He believes that the sports world will soon accept marijuana as a form of medicine, simply by the massive number of people who are already using it.
